Rotation Model House Platform for Evaluation on the Infrared Blocking Effectiveness of Window Sun Control Films.
This educational kit demonstrates the thermal (infrared) blocking capacity of window sun control films by observing the mini house indoor temperatures. The lower the indoor temperature, the higher the thermal blocking capacity of the sun control film.
Tungsten lamp (~10 W) is used as the light source, where the radiation emission may not be isotropic (the same radiation intensity in all directions). The rotation platform offers a time integration in all the horizonal directions. After a certain period of time, the time-integrated radiation will become isotropic.
